What do you people think about this internal guitar pickup mic? I am thinking about ordering it for my next build and was just wondering if you guys knew anything about it.

they are available cheaper elsewhere:

there are others available as well such as highlander.

if it is your sole source of signal for amplification you are usually limited to amplified playing in quiet indoor venues, as it can also pickup ambient external noise, e.g. wind, audience, etc.

therefore they are usually used in conjunction with another signal source such as an undersaddle, soundboard or soundhole pichup and a mixing preamp with eq to balance signal, reduce noise and give the desired sound.
